Who Loves to Watch Movies?

Who does not like to watch movies? I know that I love them. It helps me to escape my world and live in that fantasy world that is on the screen. The story that is told is always epic and compelling. Who would not want to be that action hero? Or who does not want to be rescued by a hunk? These movies are how we have fun and they have become a great way to show what people are thinking. It really is amazing what we have done with it all. I do not know where I would be if there were no movies in the world.

Amateur Movies win the Awards

It always seems that the amateur movies are the ones that win the most awards. But the thing that matters the most, is the profit of it all, do not seem to matter to those critics. Look at the harry potter films that have been coming out. Those tell an amazing story and the artwork is just beautiful. But, I do not see these movies winning awards. Instead, I see stupid films that do not make any sense winning all of the awards. This may be just a way to please the small guy, but we need a new judging system for all of this.

Why We Watch Movies

Why is it that the American populations spends billions of dollars each year to go watch movies? The most obvious reason is that we use the movies as an escape from real life. Who can say that they have not dreamt of being in space? Or who has not dreamt of being the action hero who saves the pretty lady? All of us have fantasized about this before and the movies bring these fantasies to life. So, what we do is use the movies as entertainment and keep us from being bogged down by the troubles of life. At least, that is how I see it.
